Description |
The resort was located on Belter's/Beaumont's island. Doriot shuttered the resort from 1917-1920 and purchased Deer Park Lodge. The resort was listed as Stone Lake Resort on a 1918 Outer's magazine map. Gus Koerner purchased the property from Doriot in 1920. Included is an excerpt from John LaFave's memoirs about a brawl at the resort between Louie LaPorte and George Devine. |
