Judi Schmidt Arnold owned this business from 1984-1997. In 1987 Kurt Potter managed the tavern her and she moved her business, Schmidt-Haus Realty, from this location to 6080 County Hwy W. Judi's sister, Patti Roberts, aka "Pea Patch Patti", was also involved in the managing the business. By 1988 Judi's second husband, Bud Arnold became involved and the motel was added onto the tavern. The business began using the tag line "Best Motel & Saloon by a Dam Site" |
