5. BO BO JI JO TO rental property on Little Star Lake. 1976-1989 - Bunn's Northwood's Lodge was divided and sold to three different owners in 1976. Bob and Barb Shroeder, who had a summer residence down the shore, purchased two of the resort's year round homes and two cabins for rental properties.

10. Deer Trail Cabins on Little Star Lake. 1976-1997 - Bunn's Northwood's Lodge was divided and sold to three different sections in 1976. One of the new owners was their daughter, Helen Townsend. She and her husband Bob kept the two cabins closest to Little Bohemia Lodge as well as 200' of frontage. They continued to rent the cabins under the name Deer Trail Cabins. In 1997 they sold the cabins and lake frontage to Jeff and Michelle Muellner for a private residence.

11. Deer Trail Cottages on Little Star Lake ca 1930s-1946 - Ms. Maude Johnson started this resort, building four cabins, in the early 1930s. By 1949 she sold a couple of the cabins to Tom Crawford who rented them under the name Little Star Resort. The other cabins were sold to Oscar Nehring by 1945 and continued to be operated as Deer Trail Cottages.By 1953 these cabins were sold and were being rented under the name Star Beach Cottages. The 1956 Chamber business map lists Nerhing's Service Garage as still being located here.

12. Earliest map of rail line from Powell depot to Little Star and Manitowish Lakes. 1900 - This is a segment of the map titled "Lakes Tributary to G.W. Buck and Son Resorts" hand drawn by Fayette (Fay) Buck in 1900. This map illustrates the earliest rail line from the town of Powell, by today's Highway 47, to Little Star and Manitowish Lakes where logs were loaded onto rail cars and visitors to the area were dropped off to get launches to area resorts. This map dates the existence of the railroad spur at 1900. Flambeau Lumber Company office and bunk house (right) located in Pancake Hollow on Little Star Lake. 1900-1916 - The Chicago Northwestern rail line extended access from a government logging spur line for the Flambeau Lumber Co just south of the Powell depot to Little Star Lake by 1900. The Company operated a large boom and loading area on the southwestern bay of the lake. Current address is 13602 Star Point Lane.

18. Hausman's Northwoods Lodge on Little Star Lake. 1990-1995 - In 1978 Bunn's Northwood's Lodge was divided and sold to three different owners. In 1990 Mike and Nancy (Johns) Hausman purchased two of the properties and revived the earlier resort name of Northwoods Lodge.
