Per Ruthie Gardner: This was her grandfather's (Henry Voss') big old Chris Craft. It had wicker furniture in it to sit on. He took guests for rides and pulled surfboards behind it. When it became too costly to maintain and operate, he donated it to a group of nuns. The passengers may be some of the girls that worked at the resort. Palmer Hanson's house is in the background- Spider Lake in Voss bay. ca 1944 |
