Description |
Floyd & Baye Christensen and George and Lucille Speas, all from Necedah, WI, purchased the resort in 1948, to use as a vacation location for family and friends. After a few years Speas sold their interest to Christensens. Floyd's three children each had use of one of the three cabins. Floyd and Baye used the lodge as their 3 season residence. After their son Roger built his own summer home on Alder Lake, the Bayview cabin was rented to select friends. After Floyd and Baye passed the property was sold in 1988 to Bartling's Manitowish Cranberry Co.and was once again operated as a seasonal resort. |
