Postcard of Voss' Birchwood. Four colorized scenes. Exterior of lodge "Hotel", dining room, lobby, veranda. Reverse of postcard has been used and posted with a 1 cent 1934 Yosemite stamp. Postmark appears to be 1935. Handwritten message on postcard mentions going to see the "Dillinger Hangout". This would have been mailed less than one year after the shootout and less than one year after Dillinger's death. |
