5. New clipping noting that Thomas Sleight Sr. was courting teacher Albina Dulick. 1918 - Ms. Dulick was a teacher at the Deer Park School. Included in this record is recollections by student Charles "Bud" Smith Jr. about Sleight stopping by the school house to visit Dulick. They eventually married, operated resorts and raised a family in town.

Phyliss Andrews- marries Carl Christensen 1924, divorces in 1935; elected Vice President of 4th Class post offices by national association 1965 - Phyliss was a long time Manitowish resident- a teacher at both the Rest Lake and Manitowish schools, the postmistress at the Manitowish PO, a local musician and owner of Sunset Lodge on Manitowish Lake.

8. Spider Lake School. 1915 - This school opened in 1915 with a handful of students. It's student population grew through 1930. The schoolhouse was located on Deer Park Road and often referred to as the Deer Park School.
