1. Brochure from "Meet the Spirits" cemetery walk event. 8/28/024 - A living history event sponsored by the Manitowish Waters Historical Society at Pine Lawn Cemetery. Biographies of seven local pioneers were researched and portrayed by family or community members. Eighty five people attended the event. The brochure has a brief history of the Town and Pine Lawn Cemetery in addition to a biographical summary of each pioneer.

4. Devine home on Clear Lake. ca 1900 - This is the second home of Dan & Kate on Clear Lake, built in the 1800s. Per relative Ellen Perkin's oral history interview, Devine's first home was on Island Lake on the east point of the channel exiting the lake (5758 Golf Road). They were allowed to select a new location as their current home would be under water once the dam was built (ca 1890s). Dan picked Clear Lake.

18. Mrs. Emma Andrews tells of Early Days 11/1962 - Emma celebrated her 97th birthday. Many local residents attended. She recounted what the Manitowish area was like in the early days. At the time Mercer did not exist and the logging industry was large. She watched logs sluice through the rivers followed by a wanigan (floating cook shanty). Includes her 1965 obituary.

20. Obituary for John F. Sullivan, pioneer resident and active citizen of Hurley,WI; Summer residence and property on Manitowish Lake 1926 - John's great grandchildren continue to own a seasonal home on the property (2024). The "Willis Sullivan Meeting Room" at the Frank Koller Memorial Library was donated by the Sullivan family in honor of their father and grandfather Willis, John Sullivan's younger son.
