"Cap" Smith family property, "Olivida", on Manitowish Lake. 1916-ca 1930s - These pictures show the buildings on the property-- the original log house (built in 1918; burned 1937 and rebuilt), storage building/boathouse and cabins (1924: 11 cabins originally; sold 5 in 1940). Per interviews with family members Cap Smith bought the property in 1916, stayed at Voss' in 1917 and built the log house in 1918.
