3. Betzer's Alder Lake Resort. Includes photos, advertisements, brochure, obituary for Ray Betzer and brief history of the property. ca 1937-1970 - Ray Betzer purchased the property from Robert Loveless and originally advertised it as "Cottages in the Pine Woods". After his death in 1970 Ray's sister Evelyn Ethel inherited the property. Dan Fox helped her manage it from 1974- early 1980s. In July 1986 the property was sold to former guests Dick and Muriel Henske and was converted to private residences.

8. Fern Lodge Resort on Dam (Vance) Lake 1915-1945 - Owned by Ethel Powell. Following her death in 1945 the main lodge, 4 cabins and all contents were auctioned off and were required to be removed from the property. This property later became a state campsite.

9. Haakenson's Resort ad and owner obituaries (1958 &1990) ca 1936- 1942 - John and Esther Haakenson built and operated Haakenson's Resort on the Rest Lake channel until 1942 when they sold it to George and Mabel Bazso. It was believed the cabins were built by Matt Plunkett.

18. Joe Ilg Sr. family photos from Rest Lake ca 1902-1915 - Joe Ilg Sr. first came to Rest Lake in 1891. He married Leonore in 1898. They camped on the river at Reed's house (relatives of Leonore). They later camped on the site of the boat landing by the dam, which become the site of the Northern Lights Hotel in the late 1920s. In about 1915 they purchased their resort property down the shore to the east.

19. John Olson's Resort on Circle Lily Lake 1944 - The only year a Chamber ad was taken out for this resort. Starting in 1948 Homer's Place was advertised as the only resort on Circle Lily Lake. Not sure if Olson sold to Homer Sexton or the resort was closed.
