4. Charles W. and Jessie Nash owned Rest Camp on Rest Lake. 1924-1947 - They purchased the mainland from the P.D. Durant estate (1924) and Fox Island from H.E. Fox (1926). The property was used as a family retreat. Staying on from the Durants, Romey Theriault continued as caretaker for the next 21 years.
