3. Island Lake Resort photos - Island Lake Resort - a few postcard photos from the David Bohnett postcard collection. One photo shows an artist's rendition of the island part of the resort. Notice on the image which contains the reverse of the postcard. Postal cancelation was by a railroad post office on the Ashland and Milwaukee line. Postmarked 1910.

This landing was later used for visitors to the area to board launches to area resorts. The map also shows hunting/fishing camps and resorts of Northern Wisconsin and Michigan.
