2. Brochure from "Meet the Spirits" cemetery walk event. 8/28/024 - A living history event sponsored by the Manitowish Waters Historical Society at Pine Lawn Cemetery. Biographies of seven local pioneers were researched and portrayed by family or community members. Eighty five people attended the event. The brochure has a brief history of the Town and Pine Lawn Cemetery in addition to a biographical summary of each pioneer.

3. Matt J. "Jim" Plunkett farm on the Manitowish River. ca 1900s - The Plunkett's moved to the farm in 1891. Included in the 1895 Town of Vaughn census for James "Jim" Plunkett. It lists 6 males and 3 females in the household but documents show only 4 children. Obituary for Mrs. M.J. Plunkett included. Mr. Plunkett "Jim" died in 1904. The three boys continuted to live on the property after their mother died. The daughter, Rosella, married Emil Wysocki and moved to Winchester, WI.

4. Newspaper clippings about James Plunkett. 1913-1956 - James was the son of Mr. & Mrs. M.J. "Jim" Plunkett. One clip describes James' adventure with Dick Sleight boating up the Manitowish River to Spider Lake (aka Manitowish Waters). Later that month his brother Bill had to take him to the hospital for pneumonia. In 1917, James was stationed in France during World War I. June 1956 obituary included.
