3. Lange's Sylvan Lodge on Manitowish Lake. 1954-2023 - After Paul Lange's death in 1954, his nephew Clarrence Lange and wife Margaret took over resort operations until Clarence's death in 1979. Lange's son-in-law, Henry Zierer continued to rent the cabins to friends and family until his passing in 2009. Clarence's granddaughters Diane Zierer and Barb Ings still spend summers on the property (2023).
